HARRY LOCKHART

"And that's how she got to the same party as me. Oh shit. I skipped something. Damn it. This whole robot bit. I made a big deal, then I like totally forgot. Fuck, this is bad narrating. Like my dad telling a joke. "Oh, wait back up. I forgot to tell you the cowboy rode a blue horse." Fuck."

The film is narrated by a small-time crook, Harry Lockhart. He is self-aware and talks to the audience at various times through the movie.

Running away from police after a botched robbery, Harry runs into a movie audition to escape and, ironically, impresses the producers. He is brought to Hollywood, where he meets homosexual private-eye "Gay" Perry van Shrike who is enlisted to help Harry prepare for his role in the movie.

Following around Perry at his job, Harry stumbles upon evidence of a complicated murder mystery eerily similar to the detective stories which Harry and Harmony grew up reading. The three team up to solve the mystery and encounter a series of seemingly nonsensical problems.

PERSONALITY/PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Harry is 5'9'' with dark brown hair and brown eyes. You may also notice that he has a finger missing. (His left ring finger.) Though he keeps it wrapped up with gauze and shit because he's still weird/pissed off about it.

Harry, is the narrator in the story. Opinionated, and not the brightest crayon in the box. He enjoys the word fuck, and says it, a lot. He seems to have an addiction for stealing stuff as seen in the rush he gets just by stealing gum from a hotel lobby. He can have a temper when he feels he has been wronged in some way, violated, whatever and his mood can changed at the drop of just a piece of information. He has a bit of a drinking problem, he enjoys alcohol. He can also be funny, and sweet. He enjoys pointing out people that look like actors only with a different notable focal point, (IE: Native American Joe Pesci). He's not the best with grammar, as Perry points out to him on a regular basis, and apparently is also bad at math. He does have the occasional good idea though or helpful thought. He's generally a good guy, just a little dumb at times. He's also not that great of a fighter.
